The time is drawing near and we're looking forward to seeing friends and family on our wedding weekend. We appreciate the effort that many of you are making to travel across the continent to celebrate with us.
While we're happy to help with any transportation or logistic issues that you may have, if at all possible please let us know in advance. Thanks.
Update: It's been a while since any updates here, and the time is no longer drawing near, it's obviously drawn. If you want more up to date news, check out our blog.

Friday night - We don't yet have any specific plans, and we're probably not going to commit to anything in advance, but if you're in town early and looking for something to do, feel free to give us a call on either of our cell phones (see below). We might end up at our favorite local pub, the Albatross, but it probably depends on how much energy we have.
We've reserved a site in a nearby park in Berkeley for a picnic. It's a nice park up in the hills, with wonderful views of the city, an awesome slide built into the hill for kids (and adults too!), and it's connected by a tunnel under the street to the Berkeley Rose Garden.
There's on street parking, but no parking lot, so carpooling is encouraged. If you don't have a car and would like to get a ride with us, let us know in advance and arrive at our house by 11:30 AM and we can shuttle some people up. Our house is a fairly short walk from the North Berkeley BART station. The park is also reachable via AC Transit bus #65 that picks up in front of the Bank of America building by the downtown Berkeley BART station. On Saturdays it only comes once every hour on the half hour.
In town guests are welcome to attend, but if you do we're going to rope you into helping us.
Please let us know if you plan on attending, so that we can have enough food. There will be a space on the invite when you receive it in the mail to check off for this.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The weather has been unseasonably unsettled this week, and hopefully the Saturday picnic will go ahead as planned, but if you're in any doubt, call one of us on our cell phones (numbers below).
NEW: This page has a few suggestions. If there's any specific questions you might have or something you're looking for, don't hesitate to contact us.
We have a few extra bikes that can be loaned out if you're looking for some basic transportation around Berkeley. Ask us in advance for details if you're interested.
