Dinner in Beit She'an. A "main course" was really superfluous, and I think we could have avoided it if we had more clearly understood the menu, as the 14 or so little appetizer dishes that they brought us (and refilled continuously if they got low) were more than enough. People talk about big portions in America, but it's nothing like in Israel. It's like the whole country is one big Jewish grandmother, imploring you to "Eat, eat!"
