Middle East 2007 -- Lachish (Part 1)

We flew into Tel Aviv and Ziggy (Rich's cousin) picked us up at the airport and drove us too Lachish. Quite a long journey -- including the Paris stopover it was something like 30 hours since we had left our house in Berkeley.

Lachish was a great way to start off our trip to Israel. Welcoming, pretty, and just a little bit mellow compared to some of the hecticness of how much we tried to pack into a 3 week trip.
